The Khmer Youth Association (KYA) is a non‐governmental organization of the non‐ government sector in Cambodia. Since 1992 KYA has taken a lead role in representing the voice of Cambodian Youth to the government and donor community. KYA effectively represents the professional interests of Youth across diverse sectors which make us unique. Our reputation for high quality youth engagement, empowerment and capacity development to youth and young people are widely acclaimed and highly valued by many stakeholders
KYA is guided by a 3 year strategic plan is currently managing a diverse portfolio of projects on Human Right and Democracy, Youth’s Health and Education, Gender Equity and Women Empowerment and Youth capacity building, Development effectiveness and community of learning practices. Due to expansion and deployment of succession management plan, KYA is now recruiting a Program Manager to assure a) quality delivery KYA programming activities and b) strategic and direct management oversight to all KYA programming activities.
The Program Manager covers a broad range of issues ranging from provision of strategic and technical management inputs in initiating, developing mentoring middle management in the execution of KYA projects and programs.Under the overall guidance of the President of KYA, s/he leads strategic planning for KYA programming activities, setting
of management targets, and monitors programming stages of all programming activities of KYA. The Programme
Manager advises the MT on course correction, thematic entry points and creative responses to emerging complex challenges. He/she serves as officer‐in‐charge in the absence of the President of KYA.
